Believe in your own reality

Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.

  • Astronomer Carl Sagan

With every choice we make, the journey of life brings us closer to our destiny. I believe that every decision you make with your heart, can never be the wrong decision. It might hit you hard at first, but when you keep walking on your chosen path you will realize more and more that you did the right thing.

I always go with my gut. For some reason I am unable to make big decisions in my life by thinking rationally. I just don’t agree that we humans are rational beings. We might try to be so, but in the end we all want to speak and act from the heart. Because that’s what makes us feel most comfortable in life eventually. Our desire to become who we truly want to be.

This lecture from Alan Watts inspires me daily. I believe we can achieve a life in which we are doing what we desire. An ongoing journey to find our own reality. Stop wasting your time with the pursuit of money, but start pursuing your own happiness. We all have dreams but we seem to forget them all too easily.

I believe that if you have your heart set on achieving your dreams, you can create your own reality. It might not go down smoothly, it might take you many years to achieve it. But if you keep believing, nothing and no one can stop you from achieving.

And then, something incredible will be known. To you, to all of us. Somewhere.
